Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Peregrine through your account. If you’re unsure whether a use is allowed, ask us at support@peregrinelead.com before you start.

Contents

  1. Only call people who asked to hear from you
  2. Uses that aren’t allowed
  3. Be honest on every call
  4. Protect the service
  5. What we do about violations

1. Only call people who asked to hear from you

  • Send Peregrine only leads who contacted you or asked to be contacted, and who gave the consent required by law to be called by or for your company with an AI or automated voice.
  • No purchased, rented, traded, shared, aggregated or scraped lists, and no “lead generator” leads unless the consent was given specifically for your company, by name, in a way you can prove.
  • No cold calling, random or sequential dialing, or calling numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry, a state list or your internal list without a valid exemption.
  • Keep proof of consent (the form, the wording, the time and the source) for at least five years.

2. Uses that aren’t allowed

You may not use Peregrine for:

  • Debt collection or collection-related calls.
  • Political campaigns, polling, advocacy or fundraising calls.
  • Healthcare calls that involve protected health information, unless we’ve signed a business associate agreement with you.
  • Lending, credit repair, debt relief, mortgage or insurance sales, unless you hold every required license and your calls follow the rules for those industries.
  • Adult content, gambling, firearms, cannabis or other controlled substances, cryptocurrency or investment opportunities, multi-level marketing, “get rich quick” offers, or anything illegal where you or the lead are.
  • Calls to emergency lines, hospitals, or numbers you know belong to a minor.
  • Harassment, threats, hate, or impersonating a person, company or government agency.

3. Be honest on every call

  • Don’t remove or work around the agent’s disclosure that it’s an AI assistant, or instruct it to claim to be human.
  • Don’t configure deceptive or misleading scripts, false urgency, false claims about price, availability, results or affiliation, or anything that violates consumer-protection law.
  • Don’t spoof caller ID or use a number to hide who’s calling. Use only numbers provisioned by Peregrine or that you have the right to use.
  • Honor every request to stop calling, immediately, wherever it’s made.

4. Protect the service

  • Don’t try to get around limits, quotas, calling hours, the do-not-call list or the US and Canada calling restriction.
  • Don’t probe, scan or test the security of the Service, interfere with it, or access other customers’ data.
  • Don’t use the Service to send malware or spam, or to generate traffic that harms carriers or other users (including toll fraud).
  • Don’t use the Service, its outputs or its agent to build a competing product, or to train AI models.

5. What we do about violations

We may investigate suspected violations, including complaints from leads, carriers or regulators, and you’ll cooperate. We may suspend calling or your account, remove content, or terminate under the Terms, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Carriers can also block numbers on their own.
