Call every new Salesforce lead within a minute

Connect Salesforce in a click. Peregrine picks up each new Lead, calls it, qualifies it on your criteria, live-transfers the good ones to a rep and logs the result on the record, so your team works from Salesforce as usual.

Connect Salesforce

Open Integrations in Peregrine and choose Connect Salesforce. You sign in to Salesforce, approve access and land back in Peregrine. Production orgs, sandboxes and orgs with a My Domain all work: pick the login address when you connect. Peregrine asks only for API access and a refresh token so it can keep working while you are away, and it stores that token encrypted.

The Salesforce integration is part of Growth, Scale and Enterprise, and every free trial includes it. Disconnecting revokes Peregrine's access in Salesforce straight away, and so does deleting your Peregrine account.

Which records get called

Every minute, Peregrine checks for Leads created since its last look that have a Phone or Mobile number and are not converted. Each record becomes one Peregrine lead and is called once, however often it is seen, so nothing is called twice and nothing is missed between checks.

You decide which records count. Call every new Lead, or only Leads from the Lead Sources you pick, or only certain Lead record types. You can include new Contacts too; a Contact whose number Peregrine already has, such as a converted Lead, is skipped. If you sell more than one thing, map Lead Sources to Peregrine qualification profiles so each offer gets its own questions.

What Peregrine writes back

When a lead is finished, Peregrine logs a completed Task on the Lead or Contact with the outcome, a summary of the call, each qualification criterion with the answer and whether it passed, and an excerpt of the transcript. Every outcome is written back, including the leads who never answered, so your reports show the whole picture.

Each outcome has its own rule that you can change: which Lead Status to set and whether to create an open Task for a person. By default, a transfer, a missed transfer and a requested callback set Working - Contacted; a lead who is a fit but not ready yet stays Open with a follow-up Task; a lead who is not a fit becomes Closed - Not Converted with the reasons; and a missed transfer or a callback gets an open Task due at the booked time. A lead who asks not to be called again has Do Not Call set on the record.

When a rep takes a live transfer, that rep can become the record owner. Peregrine matches reps to Salesforce users by email, or by a mapping you set.

Learn from your closed deals

Peregrine can draft your qualification profile from Salesforce. Pick a date range, and Peregrine compares closed-won Opportunities with closed-lost ones using each Account: employees, industry, billing country and state, annual revenue, account type and ownership, plus the Opportunity's lead source and type. It shows what separates the deals you win, proposes weighted criteria with the numbers behind each one, and saves nothing until you approve it.

Test it

Create a test Lead in Salesforce with your own phone number, or submit a web-to-lead form that creates one. Mark yourself available in Peregrine first, because by default it only dials while someone can take a transfer. The lead appears in Peregrine within a minute, your phone rings right after, and the Task appears on the record a minute or two after you hang up.

If a Lead is not called, check that it has a phone number, is not converted and matches the Lead Sources or record types you picked. The Salesforce card under Integrations shows the last sync and any error, and Sync now checks straight away.

Questions

Which Salesforce editions work?

Any edition with API access, including Enterprise, Unlimited, Performance and Developer editions. Professional Edition works if API access has been added to it.

Does it work with a sandbox?

Yes. Choose the sandbox login when you connect, test there, then connect your production org.

Does Peregrine create or change Leads?

It never creates or deletes Leads or Contacts. It adds Tasks, and updates only the fields you allow: Lead Status, the owner on a transfer, and Do Not Call when a lead asks for it.

How fast are Salesforce leads called?

Peregrine checks Salesforce every minute, so a new Lead is usually called within a minute of being created. For seconds, add the Peregrine snippet to the page with your form as well; the same person is never called twice.

Which Peregrine plans include Salesforce?

Growth, Scale and Enterprise, and every free trial. On Starter, send leads to Peregrine with a webhook from a Salesforce Flow instead.

Does it work with HubSpot too?

Yes. Peregrine has a native HubSpot app as well. Connect either or both under Integrations.
